How easy is it for a foreigner to attend a university in France? What is the process? How much does it cost? Is it easy to find housing?

Hello

Sorry for the delay in the answer !

I'd say, it's easy to get in, to be accepted in a French University, at least @ undergraduate levels. Why ? Because French universities are State funded according to the number of students they host, so they are happy to accept foreign students.

But beware of red tape : you'll have to fill in lots of forms just to get the necessary information of how to come to the university ! Just be patient !

The good side of it : you won't pay a lot, 150 to 200 euros for one full year if you are a EU student. If you come from another part of the world it may be more (you may find this type of information on : http://www.edufrance.fr/en/)

Concerning housing : it depends if you want to attend a university in Paris or elsewhere in France. In Strasburg or toulouse it's easier and chepaer to find housing than in Paris.
