The program has been revamped to better address the changing needs and demands of both students and the corporate world. Herv� Cr�s, Associate Dean of the HEC Master of Science in Management and PhD programs, highlights the three main improvements.

A more extensive program

"The program now has a wider reach. A few years ago, we had about a dozen exchange students per year. That figure has now risen to about 100 students per year and we expect 250 students by 2008. Un stage � l'�tranger de 3 mois est obligatoire � HEC pour tous les �l�ves depuis...1950. Ils ont consid�rablement augment�s en dur�e depuis l'instauration de l'ann�e de c�sure dans les ann�es 1980.Et des s�jours acad�miques de six mois ou un an sont pratiqu�s par environ un tiers des �tudiants fran�ais (les �tudiants d'origine �trang�re ne sont pas envoy� � l'�tranger !). Donc dire que seuls 20% des �l�ves d'HEC font un s�jour � l'�tranger est faux. Dire aussi qu'Hec a 25 partenaires d'�change est �galement inexact : elle en a 77 et le Groupe Hec � peu pr�s le double.
Ce n'est que depuis peu que Scinces-po a rendu les s�jours � l'�tranger(stages et/ou s�jours acad�miques) obligatoires. Et cette obligation ne concerne que la minorit� d'�tudiant qui entre � Scinces-Po en premi�re ann�e. La majorit� qui entre en troisi�me ann�e est peu concern�e par les �changes et n'a ancune obligation de s�jour � l'�tranger.
Dire que la situation d'Hec est peu glorieuse compar�e � celle de Sciences-Po est donc tout � fait inadapt�.
